Hi, I am using the iOS version of the app. Whenever I use a flash, the exposure readings work fine, but the colour temperature tabs don’t show the flash output. The red dot almost never comes up and the flash Kelvin number stays – almost always – empty. I have firmware 906 and sensitivity set at 7; I tried other settings but that doesn’t help.

When I turn off continuous ambient metering, the white dot does seem to react to the flash.

Hope you can suggest something to fix this.

      Cheers,
      Erik

      Hi Erik,
Nice to hear from you again. This might be due to the amount of light. You need enough light for ISO 100, F5, and a suitable shutter speed (say, 1/160 or so) to get a reading. Then it will consistently give readings, and the red dot. Also, to get a good reading from for color from a strobe, put the meter pretty close to the source.
Please let me know if you need anything else.
      Rudy
